These are select whole Chestnuts from Europe and have been carefully blanched and peeled. The Chestnut has a meaty texture and a rich starch-like flavor; and has a creamy white flesh and crisp texture. Can be served as a side dish or added to a stuffing for poultry. They have the consistency of potatoes when boiled or roasted. Store in Freezer before 0 degrees. Keep frozen until ready to use. Do not thaw and refreeze. Cook from Frozen. Plunge quickly in boiling water. Simmer for 10 minutes and drain. Fry in a pan on medium-high setting in a little oil or butter, without cover. Drain as needed.

Storage Tips

Perishable items: Keep Refrigerated upon arrival. Best consumed within 1-4 days.

Shelf Stable items: Refrigerate after opening, view best before date. Please follow instructions on packaging.

Shipping
